HYPERTENSION CLINIC
We run an integrated and comprehensive Hypertension clinic, we have expertise in treating patients who have complex or difficult to treat hypertension and its complications. The clinic supports patients with information regarding blood pressure monitoring guidelines, lifestyle changes and nutrition.
GENERAL NEPHROLOGY CLINIC/ RENAL CLINIC
Our renal clinic is dedicated to the care of the diseases that exclusively affect the kidneys. These diseases include those that are primarily limited within the kidneys or systemic diseases that complicate the normal functioning of the kidneys. In this clinic, we diagnose and prevent kidney disease, anticipate complications and treat renal problems before they become life threatening. The clinic is staffed with experienced nephrologists and other healthcare professionals who develop and implement customized treatment for these diseases.
DIALYSIS CENTER.
The Center for Dialysis offers long-term services to meet the different needs of patients. Chronic therapies, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, are a lifeline supporting patients until kidney transplant. Acute dialysis in the hospital setting is also available which includes IHD (intermittent haemodialysis), PIRRT (prolonged intermittent renal replacement therapy) and CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy). All options for care of long-term dialysis patients are provided at our locations in Kisumu Specialist Hospital and Tom Mboya.
KIDNEY TRANSPLANT CLINIC
The kidney transplant clinic operates a full range of services for patients with advanced renal failure facing the possibility of renal replacement therapy. This includes evaluation, wait list maintenance, transplant procedures and follow up care.
